About Bendor Technology
Bendor Technology was founded on a simple belief: technology should enable businesses, not become a barrier to their success.
With more than three decades of experience designing, implementing, securing, and operating complex technology environments, we bring enterprise-level expertise to organizations that need practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Our experience spans network architecture, cybersecurity, data centers, cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, and strategic technology leadership.
We understand that every organization is different. There is no one-size-fits-all technology strategy, and there is rarely a single product that solves every problem. Our approach begins with understanding your business, your goals, and your challenges before recommending solutions that align with your operational and financial objectives.
At Bendor Technology, we believe in building long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and accountability.
Whether serving as a strategic advisor, leading a complex technology project, or managing day-to-day infrastructure operations, our goal is simple: deliver technology solutions that work, provide measurable value, and position our clients for long-term success.
Meet Our Founder
Bret Filipek
Bret Filipek founded Bendor Technology with a simple philosophy: technology should empower organizations, not become an obstacle to their success.
With more than three decades of experience in information technology, Bret has built a career designing, implementing, securing, and operating complex technology environments for organizations of all sizes. His experience spans enterprise networking, cybersecurity, data center infrastructure, cloud technologies, systems architecture, and executive technology leadership.
Throughout his career, Bret has served in roles ranging from network engineering and operations management to Senior IT Director and Principal Solutions Architect. This unique combination of hands-on technical expertise and executive leadership allows him to approach technology challenges from both an engineering and business perspective.
Bret believes that successful technology initiatives begin by understanding an organization's goals, challenges, and long-term vision. Rather than recommending technology for technology's sake, his focus is on developing practical, reliable, and scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.
As founder of Bendor Technology, Bret's mission is to provide organizations throughout Central Oregon and beyond with access to enterprise-level expertise and strategic guidance that is often unavailable to small and mid-sized businesses. Whether serving as a trusted advisor, leading complex technology projects, or providing ongoing operational support, his objective remains the same: helping organizations make informed technology decisions with confidence.
Beyond traditional IT consulting, Bret is passionate about helping communities understand the broader implications of technology initiatives, particularly in areas such as data center development, infrastructure planning, and long-term technology strategy. He believes that informed decisions today create stronger, more resilient organizations and communities tomorrow.
At the core of everything Bret does is a commitment to integrity, transparency, and long-term partnerships built on trust. Technology will continue to evolve, but the principles of good leadership, sound architecture, and putting the client's interests first remain constant.
