Arrange client-directed engineering work through time and materials or a prepaid retainer. Choose the arrangement that matches your planning horizon and scheduling needs.
Request engineering work on selected aspects of your environment and pay for actual time spent. Work is driven by your request, with no predetermined deliverables. Services are remote by default. Availability for unscheduled work and continuity of the same engineer are not guaranteed.
Prepay engineering hours at discounted, skillset-specific rates for anticipated work within a quarter when the exact tasks and timing are not yet known. Retainer work requires advance scheduling. You direct the work and own oversight; provider project management is not included. Services are remote unless on-site delivery is requested, and the same engineer is not guaranteed for subsequent work.
These engineering arrangements do not include a pre-engagement assessment or a guaranteed result. Actual resource time is billable, including time affected by unavailable client contacts, accounts, or access. Additional skillsets and scope changes require the appropriate approval. Travel arrangements and costs are defined in the agreement.
Retainer work pauses when funding is exhausted or the retainer expires unless a funded renewal or refill is in place, or you separately authorize time and materials work. Requesting or scheduling work does not extend the retainer expiration.
